Berrien fights hard, but falls to Turner

Berrien Rebel boys fought hard against Turner County Tuesday night in Nashville, but fatigue and frustration set in during the 3rd quarter and Turner County pulled away.  The red/gray Rebels came out strong playing hard defense to slow down the Rebels of Turner and led after the first quarter and Gervone Bellamy hit a big three pointer at the buzzer to put Berrien behind by one at the half.
The 3rd quarter Turner pressed hard and Berrien got frustrated and Turner pulled away.  "We played hard all game and I was really impressed with our boys.  We went toe to toe with a heavyweight team in single A for  a half.  We will continue to work hard and get better, but for only having practiced eleven times, I couldn't be more proud of the team," said Coach McClure after the game.

Berrien is back in action Friday night against Clinch County in Nashville.  The Rebels look to build some momentum off of the Turner game and improve their 1-2 record.
