Berrien Boy's scored the first basket Saturday night at Ware Magnet and never looked back. Berrien's pressure defense forced many turnovers and caused numerous fast breaks for the Rebels which gave them a 21 point lead going into halftime. The Rebels were led by Khalid Lammar with 23 points, but gave an overall team effort that produced numerous players with six points or more.
The Rebels will be in action Friday night in their Season Opener against Lanier County. The game will start as soon as the girls are over (tentatively 8:30).
